Throwback Thursday… memories of being Phyllis Diller’s music director and onstage foil. Her infamous husband “Fang 2” was always hovering in the booth, well lubricated and quite often wrecking lighting cues, sometimes turning our orchestra lights out just as I was about to throw a downbeat.
