Teresa Graves and Ed Sullivan
Memories from 1970, conducting on the road for Ed Sullivan’s Armed Forces Tour, covering the whirlwind of live performances at U.S. military bases in Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa and the Philippines with actress/singer Teresa Graves and the Blossoms Three during the Vietnam War. It was extremely weird going to military staging locations and looking at the faces of all the young men on their way to way to a war from which I had just returned. Our dear Teresa, we lost her so young.
